The legendary Tiffin family of North Alabama is one such manufacturer, and we’re proud to share their home state.

The Tiffin RV family business took off in 1972 when Bob Tiffin built his first Allegro. His father, Alex, noticed his skill in machinery and fascination with recreational vehicles, so when the opportunity arose, the family bought an RV business that was going out of business, and Tiffin Motorhomes was born.

Bob’s father instilled the importance of the golden rule, and firmly believed that you needed to look people in the eye. These values are still important to the Tiffin family business today.

When they were first starting, Bob didn’t want to mimic other manufacturers’ way of doing things. He wanted to design RVs that he and his family could imagine using. By incorporating many innovative techniques into the frame and assembly, the Tiffin brand began to outpace their competition while never losing sight of the values they started with.

Starting with the small goal of two motorhomes a day, the Tiffin production line has now produced over 65,000 units. In 1999, Bob was inducted in the RV Industry Association’s Hall of Fame.

When we speak of the Tiffin family, it is truly family! Bob’s three sons operate as the General Manager, Head of Research & Development and Vendor & Supplier Relations. Their cherished and loyal employees also look at being part of Tiffin Motorhomes as more than just a job.

Its legacy, and the relationships it has built with customers, employees, communities and dealers gives this company a name we’re honored to carry on our property.
